Sexist bullcrap, as usual. Cricket is still a game, and people "wishing" for a son is nonsense. And yeah, women's cricket does exist, although everyone seem to ignore that.
No Country for Women, I guess.

A son or daughter frankly doesn't matter. A girl is just as valuable as a boy. I find some of these patriarchal notions extremely amusing. A male child is no reward for a great sporting performance!
Count on these people to link performance on the cricket pitch with the gender of a child
Similar things happen in some parts of India too.
