A prolonged recovery period in Black Caps bowler Adam Milne's return to cricket.
Milne was expected to miss six weeks after tearing his abdominal muscle against India in January, after breaking the 150km/h mark earlier in the summer.
However, he says he's still two weeks away from bowling in the nets and a further three to four away from being match ready.
"Also I want to try and play a bit of Ford Trophy but the West Indies series is the next thing for the Black Caps after the 20/20 World Cup so all going well I'd like to be a part of that."
Milne says the injury has made him realise he needs to be smarter about how he exerts himself in the delivery stride.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
