Stuart Broad praised England’s “awesome†bowling display as they edged to a three-wicket win in the Second one-day international against the West Indies.
Lendl Simmons (70) proved to be a testing presence but the rest of the line-up failed to follow suit, as the home side set a target of 160.
Despite some nervous moments, crucial contributions from Michael Lumb (39) and Ravi Bopara (38) bookended the innings to help the tourists edge home and level the series.
Prior to the game, England had only triumphed in one of their last seven ODI fixtures, and Broad was pleased to notch up a victory.
“We’re delighted to have won,†Broad told BBC Sport.
“The guys learned from the other day and to bowl the West Indies out for under 160 was great.
“We had a nice start and then a little wobble, but we got over the line in the end. Spinners picked up a lot of wickets today and looked hard to score off, which creates pressure.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

It was mostly shitty batting tbh. But credit where it's due I suppose. Good debut for Parry anyway.
Poms really have to sort their shitty batting out. They're gonna miss KP big time IMO.
