Australia opener David Warner has all but accused South Africa wicketkeeper AB de Villiers of ball tampering, saying the keeper used his gloves to scuff the ball, hence the reverse swing with led to the Proteas victory.
South Africa won the second Test by 231 runs in PE, taking nine wickets in the evening of day four thanks to Dale Steyn finding hooping reverse swing. Warner has now said they will be asking the umpires to look at the SA ball management techniques.
Warner told Sky Sports Radio: "I think it comes down to the umpires warning both teams not to throw the ball into the wicket which you generally try and do.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

STFU Dave. Suck it and accept it for what it is. If you don't have evidence, don't accuse anyone of anything. Typical loudmouth though.
And umpires do routinely examine the condition of the ball, I don't know what he's on about.

LOL
Smiffy is much more classier and much less of a loudmouth than Davey boi. IMO anyway.
And Mitch allegations would be more bizarre and baseless than tampering anyway. Because Steyn demostrably got reverse, but Mitch is just being good. You can't just explain his accuracy with drugs, can you? I mean you could take drugs and still bowl leg side pies. The well directed deliveries are the key, rather than the pace alone.

Warner was subsequently cited under the ICC Code of conduct, for a level one breach of article 2.1.7.
He has accepted the penalty, a 15% fine of his match fee ($2880).
The relevant article reads:
"Public criticism of, or inappropriate comment in relation to an incident occurring in an International Match or any Player,
Player Support Personnel, Match official or team participating in any International Match,
irrespective of when such criticism or inappropriate comment is made.

I wonder if these cricketers are really sick of having money? Because they pay these hefty fines like it's nuffin and then goes back to talking shit all over.
How many times have Davey been fined recently? I've lost count tbh. Anyway.
