Ireland lost their final Twenty20 warm-up game ahead of three games against the West Indies when they were beaten by seven wickets by Trinidad & Tobago 'B'.
Ireland posted 141 for five but were beaten when the home side reached their target with nine balls to spare.
Paul Stirling continued his strong form with 44 in 27 balls but lacked support, losing William Porterfield early for 24 before Andrew Poynter hit 27 not out and Niall O'Brien an unbeaten 19.
However, the cheap dismissals of Kevin O'Brien (9), Gary Wilson (5) and James Shannno (3) hurt the Irish chances.
Although Tim Murtagh (1-21) struck early, T & T were quickly into their stride through Bjorn Ottley, who made 41 in 27 balls.
They then slipped to 56 for three as Kevin O'Brien and Andrew McBrine took a wicket apiece only to bounce back with skipper Justin Guillen (51 not out) and Daron Cruickshank (35 not out) putting on an unbroken 87-run stand to seal the win.
Guillen faced 34 balls and hit five sixes.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
