Persistent rain throughout the day has forced the cancellation of the Nagico Super50 cricket clash between Barbados and the Combined Campuses and Colleges (CCC) at Shaw Park in Tobago yesterday.
Each team got two points for the washed out match, which pushes the CCC to the top of the standings in Group B with seven points. Barbados are now second with six points and will have to defeat the Leewards in their final match to assure themselves a place in the semis.
It means that T&T has to beat the CCC in their final match on Sunday at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad to qualify for the semifinals, as well.
T&T currently has five points from their two matches.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
