I love this! the Kiwi putting the wood to India. something the west indian rump side the wicb sent cud not come close to.
I love it because it gives teeth to my assessment of the new ICC being born in front we eyes in which India, England and Oz become the ICC and everyone else minnows
The ICC is the organized instrument by which all are kept tied to such an arrangement..as if it is an absolutely essential arrangement for the continuation of world cricket. it is not. it is an instrument of enslavement to nonsense, coercion to stupidity for the rest of the world
in fact by this development the ICC proves that it is now old and out of sync with cricket development needs in the world..and ought to be broken up and a new organization made, more democratic and responsive to the the needs of the global game
to break up the ICC all the teams save the big 3 should break away from it on this very issue of 2-tier cricket organization.
that breaks it up indeed and allows all to go their respective ways. the big 3 can then associate and do their thing unencumbered..and the rest can associate in a fine new model of world democracy, player equity and a resurgence of the game associated with democracy in the public eye..test cricket and all.
it is the old undemocratic and palsied, crippled and gnarled hand of the rotted to the core ICC that is killing everything, cast a death pall on the game with its jackass elitist match referees and elite umpires... all kinds of enslaving and controlling rules and regulations on the players..along with maximum neo liberal exploitation of the game that demands constant cricket the world over.
surfeit has produced declining interest globally. and the way cricket is managed and the type of people who manage the game globally ensures for example the death of west indies cricket..the global flagship of the game, the big draw, the enthralling entity that brings all in..even those who are not fans
the death of west indies cricket is a global crime..accomplished by the wicb/India, England and others. where the population of the world loved west indies cricket... the elites that run cricket everywhere could not stand it and conspired to destroy it.
and with the rise of the coloured elites to control west indian cricket administration, the enemies of west indian cricket found an ally at the heart of west indian cricket
but cricket cant stand neo liberal exploitation. cricket is not a game that can take maximum production and marketing to maximise consumption. cricket is culture with a capital C. it must be maintained from generation to generation..which is a problem that must be carefully addressed.
cricket as appropriated by the british elites was turned into a tool of oppression and exploitation of zillions of people and many nations around the world. the negative conditioning associated with cricket must be shed while the inner civility, calm and peace of the game must be maintained and developed.
the basic intelligence of the game..cricket... must exposed for all to imbibe. where the game was a tool for exploitation it can become a tool for the positive development.
only in these ways can cricket be resurged. but this is job, a task way beyond the capabilities of the old, racist and undemocratic ICC, straight out of the heart of old british imperialism. in ICC hands cricket has become kakapool, turning into shiite before our eyes, in our generation. imagine that! we are coinciding with the aging of old british imperialism in cricket and its loss of functionality and death.
the ICC must die. its degeneration into undemocratic 2-tier elitism in the games organisation is what it is capable of in its death..nothing better. that development is a kind of death action..something but but do what it hates to live but cant bring itself to try.
the member boards are trying to keep the ICC alive because they are all in the same boat..all products of old british imperialism and as out of sync with their respective societies as is the ICC globally
somehow a new progressive administrative element has to get into cricket..an element that can see the stage we have arrived at clearly and what is needed to bring the game back to health. an element that must expose the need for democratically and popularly oriented national boards which boards would reconstitute international cricket organisation in the same spirit

I know! but it is the cutarse the Kiwi is administering to the wannabe elitist/separatist kings led by Kane that is important here.
the world does not need india for there to be a viable cricket internationally..nor england, nor Oz. these are in no way essential for that purpose.
the rest of the world can play too..and often better.. and can create something much more facile than what is going on..that the big 3 want to hold and sequester for themselves.
so let them... for what they holding on to is dying not growing.
what can grow is the potential that the smart young ones may be able to see in the growing wreckage of the old way, grab it and bring it forward and ride it into a much better future

India counts for 80% of cricket revenue. that was not always so. India was a cricket bum now it is trying to control everything. it wont work.
even if the ICC stay together this time things are going to get increasingly bad and it wont hold together for much longer.
if today the prospects look bad for the rest I say hold yuh horses.
what is wrong with the game...so commission and organize the requisite reports.
these reports will I am sure confirm more than less my outlook and what can be done to resurge the game in nations and internationally..that would include killing the ICC and create a new way that would generate adequate returns to make all involved happy.

there would be a split between the rest who would become successful as new global cricket..and the big 3 based on 80% Indian loot.
I want to see how long racist Oz and England will remain satisfied with that division..and if India can maintain such revenues playing OZ and England alone..and if not how low can they tolerate it ..or how low can it go to keep them on top financially?
the way I see it..a new rest of the world cricket organization..playing less cricket with very satisfied players with a greater share in all that goes on, share in the administration of the game in the nations as well as internationally etc..will outstrip the big 3 in 5 years and in 10 dominate globally.
the new cricket would also develop much more player friendly alternatives to the IPL and Oz T20's, that would make rest of the worlds' players participation in IPL unnecessary and they would not go.
the game would begin a decline in the big 3...their populations will clamour to see the rest of the worlds' players and teams... and when approached the rest of the world need not make or take any dam deal save 50/50. if not the big 3 can shove it.
the big 3 would seek to corrupt the new way with bribes to officials inside to sabotage it. but I doubt that would work. what it would likely accomplish is a revolution in the administrations in the big 3, producing a new approach like what triumphs in the rest of the world that would lead to rapproachement and a new day in the game globally
