Bangladesh have displayed appreciable temperament in the middle, but somehow they just can't resist going for the slog
at all the wrong times.
Shamsur Rahman and Imrul Kayes raised their maiden Test tons and it is on that foundation that Bangladesh
have reached 409 for 8 and have avoided the follow on.

Well yeah, they did slog and tried to force the strokes on a slow pitch. Although that's a better option than just simply trying to dig in, which they're not capable of doing. They're naturally aggressive players. All of them. Kayes is probably the least aggressive I guess.
They've avoided the follow on. Now with two wickets (assuming Razzak can bat) remaining, I guess Mahmudullah has to farm strike and try to lower the deficit as much as he can. I guess a lot depends on how long they bat today morning and how well they ball to SL to limit the damage so that they don't secure 300+ lead easily.

90 overs would need 5 RPO......a bit too agressive on Day 5 :
to get to 450 +
Sanga repeat innings Tons so ......Kayes , Shakib et al may just as well
Session by session with solid defence ...Keep wickets in hand !!

Lol@chasing this down.
They do have 10 wickets in hand, so lets see. Declaration was too late, Chandimal took his sweet time to ton up. Weird.
Ball is behaving a bit odd, but if they apply, they can get through.
Middle order isn't really converting their starts, which is disappointing to see for BD.

Haven't been watching this match, but I heard that Sangakara got a triple and a single hundred, with Bangladesh putting up a decent fight which is good to see. Heard a fascinating slightly off topic stat, that India has only played Bangladesh 12 times (I think) in test matches and all have been the Bangladesh. I wonder how many times Sri Lanka has played Bangladesh.
