* Maybe you can start a thread on One day bowling----strike rates and bowling average.
* We may find out that the Indian bowling in onedayers is inferior.
* The old adage may be right: BOWLING WIN MATCHES.

Yeah, I'm not saying that stats are meaningless, but just that too much emphasis shouldn't be put on stats especially in ODIs.
Samuels is one of the cases where his average perfectly reflects how well he's been doing.
Top 10 as in purely batting or should other aspects - i.e. fielding and bowling be taken into teh equation too?

Yes points taken.
Bevan for me was one of the best of all times, great stats and known to win games.
Average 54 SR 74!
67* in 232 games!
