the missing ingredient here is a sharp west indian administration..independent and creative, broad of mind and viewpoint or world view, yet subjective to a fault.
have west indies sharp on the field as of old... the greatest attraction in the game. and also hell bent on developing the market we have been entrusted with for profit, the well-being of our game and a counter to India...
if they left it not matter. whatever india did we would be in a position of positive alternatives or options
this supine, oreo cookie, dependent and colonial-minded, boob wicb we have is of no value to any interest in the game..least of all our own.
by now we shud at least have had cricket in the usa/canada organizationally/administratively sharp and growing as they shud..exercising a control that would lead to a regional body as powerful as India financially..a body in which we would be top dogs

Head of Communications at West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), Imran Khan, has said that the draft proposal presented by the ICC’s Finance & Commercial Affairs committee could both benefit and/or work against WICB, according to

the Antiguan Observer.

Khan said the draft, if accepted, could affect the FTP (Future Tours Programme), which regulates Test series across the world.

“This is very good for us because we no longer would be obligated to host New Zealand and Zimbabwe and those loss-making tours. We can only look to host India, England and Australia where we know we will make money,†he said.

This is not a satire, is it? Bloody hell, what a joke. When did it all turn into some profit making fest? What sort of greedy capitalist nonsense is this?
Then I guess a lot of countries wouldn't want to WI as well? This is just ridiculous.

What the let the 3 play in their ICC. The rest will form their own WCL , World Cricket League and don't have to worry about sharing revenue
