I feel,India could have well won the match. Virat Kohli led from the front, but he just couldn't carry it till the end.Sad..!! Also, had the partnership blossomed into a big one, india would have triumphed.India had a big Plus, they didn't have to face Milne steaming in,in the slog overs.
293 was gettable,but they didn't get it.

India needs to get rid of rohit sharma And ishant sharma. If rohit had delivered in even one of the Indian innings in south Africa India would have probably come back with a drawn test series. And what's the point of having ppl like umesh yadav and varun aaron warming the bench.......... If one notices the tearaway quick from nz also leaked some runs but at least such bowlers give the batsmen something to think about On such flat tracks

Of course you have to select your best team so it is a bit bigger than either of Rohit and or Ishant Sharma.
Fact is India's away record is not terribly good.

@Congo - are you nuts mate?
Rohit Sharma is one of the most talented batsmen they have. He needs to be persisted with - at least on the test level. He needs to prove himself overseas - granted, and he's not done justice to his potential and all that. But dropping him?
Raina needs to go much before that. I don't even.

Although I agree regarding Ishant, needs to go. How long are they gonna hang on to him? He's done f**k all except some spells where he "looked good" or "talented" - but that's not good enough. He bowls rubbish 95% percent of the time and has even single handedly lost them some matches even.
About the match - good on NZ. It's not easy to defend a target against India - and Kohli and Dhoni nearly took it away. Excellent fielding, some luck and decent bowling won it for them. Kohli, what a player though, clearly gonna end up as an all time great. How good is this guy?
And really dire to see Milne getting injured

: I accept Rohit needs a whack on his back and only then will he work his ass off.Oh yeah i forgot raina,he seems to be a tiny chap with no experience in handling the short ball. Also,i should make my point heard...They din't have to face Milne in the slog overs.India should have won it.@
Mail
: I second your thought. The entire team hinges on a team's winning chances.@Congo : I hear umesh has a ligament tear,at least that is what i heard from the media. Also Aaron can leak runs at will,so he ain't a worthy choice in NZ..Also who told you that, that was a flat track.?? ;D
