The Asian Cricket Council, on Thursday, confirmed Pakistan's participation in this year's Asia Cup in Bangladesh. However, the regional cricket body has said that the participation of all teams is subject to their individual government's decision. Pakistan will now join Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in the tournament which will take place between February 25 and March 8.
According to the ACC chief executive Ashraful Huq, Pakistan are "provisionally" scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on February 22, train for the next two days, and then play the tournament opener in Fatullah against Sri Lanka on February 25. Their security representative will arrive in Dhaka on Saturday, as part of the ICC's security meeting on Monday.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Thank god the PCB had softened its stance on Pakistan participating in the Asia Cup.This time around Pakistan play as defending champions hunting for another crown.Although they are a strong side with their bowling always hunting as a pack,I would love to see India winning this. They have been on the upper side of the charts consistently.Oh yeah, this time around Afghanistan too is participating.I guess they would throw in a stiff competition. ;D

Yeah, what the hell though. Pakistan should feel less worried than rest. And I don't know why they can't just trust ICC/SL security checks. And I would assume Bangladesh security is far from inept as Pakistani ones.
Just a lame attempt to exact revenge against Bangladeshis backing out of Pakistan tour I'd guess.
