CAPTAIN JUSTIN Guillen was the star of the show as Queen’s Park whipped the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) by seven wickets on Saturday evening as the University of the West Indies (UWI) T20 Cricket Tournament continued at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground, UWI St Augustine campus.
Guillen blazed his way to an unbeaten 75 as the “Parkitesâ€, chasing a victory target of 124, reached 125 runs for three wickets with 9.3 overs to spare. In his 50-minute innings, the left- handed opener lashed five boundaries and seven sixes off just 32 balls. He lost his opening partner Adrian Barath to a first ball duck, leg-before to S Chulhan, while S Peters and Kevon Cooper each struck two fours in their brief innings of 18 (off 11 balls) and eight (off five balls) respectively. Jonathan Augustus was unbeaten on 17, off 16 deliveries, with two fours.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
