ALAN Richardson says he is relishing the prospect of nurturing Warwickshire's attack after being named as the county's new bowling coach.
The former Little Stoke seamer had a year left on his deal at Worcestershire, but has retired from playing to take up the coaching role at Edgbaston.
The 38-year-old replaces Graeme Welch, who has taken over as Derbyshire's Elite Cricket Performance Director.
Richardson played for the Bears between 1998 and 2004 and is tasked with overseeing the development of a bowling unit which includes England international Boyd Rankin and fellow seamers Chris Wright and Keith Barker
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
