Coach Andy Flower on Wednesday dismissed reports that he issued an ultimatum to England cricket chiefs over misfiring star batsman Kevin Pietersen as “totally inaccurateâ€.
English media said Flower was ready to quit unless he was given guarantees that the polarising batsman would not be selected to play under him in the fallout following the 5-0 Ashes 2013-14 series humiliation at the hands of Australia.
It follows rumours of a breakdown in their relationship, reportedly sparked by Pietersen making himself unavailable for One-Day International (ODI) matches last year in order to play in the lucrative Indian Premier League (IPL).
Pietersen, 33, who finished as England’s highest scorer in the series with 294 runs at 29.40, has posted a series of tweets stating he wants to remain part of the England set-up, insisting he is “determined to help regain the Ashes in 2015“.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Wow, what a game so far! With 37/2 currently, rest assured WI should pull this one out without a doubt. Unless, of course, they come how adopt the curse from the south african team of a major collapse. Edwards batted brilliantly and Bravo finished the job as it was required.

Breakdown or not, Pietersen did not do as well as he should and could have.
I am not surprised at all the speculations much of which might even be manufactured by the press.
Stiff upper lip is what is required right now.

no need to settle down about the Flowers power grab. he is making a grab for power...Flowers.
it looks like he is surrounded by weaklings and newbies in the english cricket bureaucracy..no one who may be prepared to stand up to him at this time and he has decided to go for the gusto.
I don't like the cricket coach and now a star in that pantheon..Flowers.. has been revealed with cloven hooves, the same as all the rest..more proof fuh my case against..decisive proof.
