HAMZA Ahmed has been selected to play for Warwickshire’s Under-19s after impressing at recent trials.
The 17 year old is the youngest player in the squad and cut his cricketing teeth when coming through the junior ranks at Old Hill.
Hamza had previously played for arch rivals Worcestershire at Under-13s but has switched to join the Bears and will be joining them for indoor nets ahead of this summer.
A former pupil at Bishop Milner School, Hamza now attends Halesowen College where he is studying law, history, government and politics.
The promising batsman spent last season playing for powerful Shropshire side Whitchurch in Birmingham League Division Two.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
