The CNN host accepted a challenge from retired cricket bowler Brett Lee, who didn't go easy on the Brit when he pitched six balls at him, leaving Morgan with bruises and — as revealed in a tweet — a 'fractured rib confirmed by x-ray.'

Morgan emerged from the stunt with plenty of bruises, but now he has admitted his injuries were far worse and that he has a broken rib.

I can now see why Hadlee was up in arms.
I have never seen such stupidity. Brett Lee at full pelt and a corpulent, unfit, incapable man making a total mess of things.
This could have been worse that it turned out to be.
Very foolish.

Hadlee shud mind his own dam business.
allowing the participants their rights to be a..holes he should observe and comment as if he was reporting a match from soccer to boxing... with the necessary detachment.
Piers Morgan knew exactly what he was doing and I have not heard a complaint from him yet. and blood lusting Lee did not let up. it was a white man like himself and he did not care. he smashed him repeatedly.
whatever Morgan was looking for he got. that's for sure.
given the emotional possibilities in that show right there I would stay far. there appears to be so much insanity in that it will take a god lil' while to resolve it..to work it out and come to some representation of what actually was involved above and below the surface
and in the mix to be assessed or analysed would be Hadlee himself. why in the hell did he/does he care that much ::confused::

If there was ever any ill feeling between Brett Lee and Piers Morgan, it looks to have been well and truly settled over a few bottles of expensive red wine.
The two were spotted dining together at The Bathers' Pavilion in Balmoral on Monday night.
But my point was to say to the English team that, if you come on an Ashes tour to Australia, stand and take it and at least show some fight
The former Australian cricketer and the British media personality have been at the centre of international media attention following a stunt that saw Morgan enter the nets during the tea break of the fourth Ashes Test to face down six brutally quick balls from Lee.
