Jacques Kallis, one of the game's greatest allrounders, will retire from Test cricket after the Boxing Day match against India. Kallis announced his decision on Wednesday, on the eve of the second Test against India, but stated that he would still like to play the 2015 World Cup for South Africa.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Another Legend retires! Maybe it was the right time to go, or maybe not.
But He was undoubtedly the best allrounder of the present era, arguably the best allrounder of all time.
Good to see him still playing in ODIs. He has to be selective about matches though.

He averages 61 in tests batting 4th!
His stats are phenomenal but that strike rate....
The man wasn't fun to watch at all.

Good decision. I'm not a MASSIVE fan of the guy, but I still appreciate him for the ATG that he is. About time, hope he bows out on a high.
Wonder who'd replace him though. No all rounders, but I'm thinking probably a proper batsman like de Kock can come in.
