Trent Boult destroyed West Indies’ top order as New Zealand ruthlessly took control of the third Test in Hamilton.
Boult took four wickets, including all of the top three, as the Windies could establish a second-innings lead of only 121 when being dismissed for 103 in the third and final Test – which they need to win to draw the series.

Peter Fulton and Hamish Rutherford subsequently saw out the final two overs to ensure the Black Caps will resume on six without loss tomorrow.
Having began the day at 156 for three, the first aim for New Zealand was to close on the tourists’ first-innings 367.
They managed to concede just an 18-run deficit, Ross Taylor continuing his stunning form with 131 amid Sunil Narine ending with 6-91.
Boasting a slight advantage, it was clear West Indies were in a strong position on a pitch that would surely only turn more. However, they were unable to capitalise as Boult et al took centre stage.
The left-arm seamer started the collapse by cleaning up Kraigg Brathwaite, having Kieran Powell caught at slip and luring Kirk Edwards into a feather down leg.
First-innings Shivnarine Chanderpaul hit four quick boundaries en route to 20, only to edge Neil Wagner to slip after Marlon Samuels had feathered Corey Anderson behind.
Boult got in on the act again thereafter, pinning Denesh Ramdin in front – after which Tim Southee grabbed three wickets in an over to end a miserable innings.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
