Erm, I don't know what this has to do with my post, but I don't disagree much with any of this. I'm questioning your claim that he's doomed to mediocrity if he's banned from Doosra. I clearly said "obviously it'd be a big blow if they ban him from bowling the doosra, but he's still good IMO." FYI.

It's very simple! If Shilly is allowed to bowl the doosra he will continue averaging 4+ wickets per test---that's excellent. But if he is banned from bowling the doosra, then he will likely take around 3 wickets per test. That is ordinary.
