every time the team has a lil success Gibson and Sammy start crow. they say all kinda blind ridiculous things like they going to start turning screws on the Kiwi.
then in overconfidence based on absolutely nothing they do things like send the Kiwi in again on winning the toss, gladly accepting to bat the fourth innings of a test for the second time in a row for no good reason.
does Gibson not kow the stats relative to batting last in a test match?
has anyone ever sat him down and explained that option to him..that no matter what, no matter how green a wicket is, it still does not even out batting fourth in a test ::confused::
the only fact that gives such advantage is if you have Marshall, Garner, Holding and Ambrose bowling for you. in which case it does not matter when you bat...those guys will win the game for you.
if the west indies cant bat first on a green top they cant bat second anyway for the weather is always damp there and the ball will always move if kept well up and landed on the seam. which is what the west indian pace is not doing...hence 307 for 5 at days end. a very nice score by the Kiwi. 50 more and they will not have to bat twice

It was West Indies' moment.
Ross Taylor
had driven at a wide delivery from Tino Best.
The ball flew at head height between second and third slip :
Kirk Edwards committed to the catch.
But instead of holding on to it, he palmed the ball away to the boundary.
Taylor on DUCK .....went on to a Century :-[
