16 of the 20 english wickets that fell went to Siddle, harris and Johnson......

see that! and Gibson chats about west indian evolution from pace to spin

when Lillee, Thompson, Gilmore and walker tortured west indies in 1976 Lloyd went to look for pace..real pace..for he had came to know that quality pace was and is and always will be the decisive factor in winning and losing in test cricket.

now here comes skunt gibson, with fidel and tino in tow, pontificating on evolution from pace to spin, while dissing all the young potential quality pace in the region, striving for some space and sunlight.

all the teams in the world searching high and low in their nations for quality pace. Gibson disses it, promoting the worst of the lot, discouraging the young and likely

Again there is no good option in the mix. either or... Gibson is an idiot or a saboteur! and it hardly makes a difference which for in either case the result is the same..SABOTAGE of west indies cricket!

Mitch stepping up again, with Ryano. Great stuff. Siddle can always be trusted to keep it in the channel and bowl lengthy spells.
When Mitch's in form, there's absolutely no way you can realistically hope to get away with it. I mean he beat the lot of them for sheer pace, there was next to nothing  in the pitch. Ryano too, to an extent.

Johnson has a tendency to go off the boil sometimes though. Great performance, particularly in the first innings when he broke English backs with one fiery spell.

MaleahNow that Joe Root has 2 centuries in Australia, I assume those Australian fans, who said he couldn’t be classed as great unless he achieved that, will now say he is?? Given that the great Steve Smith has never scored a test ton in Pakistan….(05.01.2026, 12:31)(12:31)0
