For Shiv's fans like the Rev---it's a joy to see the West Indies get pummeled in onedayers.
* They say Shiv is not good enough to play in the West Indies oneday team
* Shiv was dropped after scoring 8778 runs @ 41.60
* They wanted to protect Lara's 10,405
* Well, West Indies is getting mauled and massacred
* But West Indian fans are insistent---Shiv must not play onedayers again.
* Let them punish and suffer mentally.

I doh see why hey wont play Shive in ODI. they shud recall that decision and pik Shive...not that it will save cutarses but Shibe will help score more than we do now
and shive would make a way better difference than Deonarine for eg.
Deonarine look like he finally drink the west indian water. he is as dotish now as the rest of them now. that shot he played this mawnin shud disqualify him from further consideration as a west indian representative player >

Mappy:
* They did Shiv a huge favor when they dropped him from onedayers.
* Now Shiv gets to focus all his preparation on tests.
* By the way, Shiv is a NUMBERS GUY.
* He knows the importance of keeping his test average above 50.
* He knows the importance of surpassing 11,953
* He is aiming at 34 test hundreds
BOTTOM LINE:
Like I said---They did Shiv a favor when they dropped him---the Rev says---let him remain dropped---and focus like a laser on tests.

well..you might be right! but people mus' stay active.
anytime you stop moving they will plant you.
an' as you see shive wasn't up to it physically this time..like all the rest. they had not been playing and needed activity to get n shape.
if shive is in ODI he wont melt. he will be better off

look, Shiv was unjustly dropped from the ODI team by Opiss and Butts! With him and Gayle opening the batting, WI was doing much better than these current pack of jokers!
So, they make their bed let them lie in it!
Shiv say they can fact off! >
he will make the runs playing ODI for team USA after he retires from test cricket! ::LOL::

googs:
* Shiv has never heard the word "RETIREMENT"---he doesn't know what it means.
;D
* When they dropped Shiv---I figured his strike rate had dropped significantly so he needed a break from onedayers.
* But they decided that the drop was permament---that's when the Rev stopped supporting the West Indies in onedayers.

Mappy:
* These were Shiv's scores versus India: 36, 31*, 25 and 41
* the man got some solid starts
* That 41 should have been at least 78---that would have taken him to 11,000
BOTTOM LINE:
* Shiv is fit as a fiddle---he is the fittest he has even been in his career.
* I believe with all the nonsense in India---all the celebrations for Sachin---Shiv did not play his usual game.
* Hopefully Shiv will return to his usual self versus NZ---although he has struggled in NZ---averaging inly 41.25
