The International cricket council (ICC) is the international governing body of cricket. The ICC was founded as Imperial Cricket Conference in 1909.The current name (International Cricket Council) was decided in 1989.The ICC has 10 full members (plays full test matches),37 associate members and 60 affiliate members. How ICC is biased in his behaviour? Their rules are different for different teams specially for Pakistan. On 26 October 2013 a South African player was caught in the case of ball tempering. He was fined only 50% of his match fee. While on the other hand Pakistani player was caught in the case of ball tempering. This was ICC reaction was
"I imposed the maximum penalty under the code to Shahid and reminded him of his responsibilities as a national captain which is to ensure that the match is played according to the laws of the game and in the spirit in which it is intended to be played," said Madugalle. "Shahid, when pleading guilty, apologised and regretted his actions."
The Pakistani All-Rounder(Shahid Khan Afridi) was banned for two T20 internationals after admitting the charge of ball tempering .Both players breached the article 2.2.9 of International Cricket’s Council code of conduct. Then why one player was banned for two matches and the other player just pays 50% of his match. Is this not the biased behaviour of ICC??
ICC should play a neutral role and they should make right decision. The Rule of ICC should be Same for Each and every country.
