HAHAHAHAHAHA! You knew hockey when it was good too eh! despite that absolute skunt 'haral' ballard
lil Tiger Williams was my fave. and he could play too.
dat Leaf team up to 1979 that reach a step away from the Stanley Cup needed a bit of tweeking. skunt ballard blew it up instead.
I left hockey almost immediately. the great had gone especially Bobby Or who was and is still the very best hockey player I ever saw. I came back a bit when Mario Lemiex was high flying..a terrific player..better in my estimation that Gretzky.
but just as the great Montreal team was dying ballard blew up the leafs and I was done with hockey. ballard was responsible. and of course now the game is the pits..fuh me at least.
the leafs don't wanna win. they do their best not to win a stanley. deh seem fearful that once they win it will break a spell and the full houses for 45 years of failure and counting will stop

This is what really gets me about those who selectively choose when to use history in debates.
No one harps on about the lack of representation at the WICB as that seems ok. Instead of debating this issue, a couple revert to name calling which is rather infantile.
That said it takes all sorts.

You may not have said that directly rather alluded to it.
You went on about African exclusion under the regime but the fact is money is what is speaking as my Club QPCC has done.
As I said and endorsed by Kwami it is not just in 62 but onwards that public life was the domain, the right, the privilege of Blacks and this is not aimed at dividing people but a social observation based on facts. To what extent this has changed I do not know except the non blacks have always made their way and that continues.
To label a man racist without evidence is poor and if one feels they can prove the case and win then do so as you are so close to the issues.
It does not matter how far we travel and in which direction, the issue of difference would always exist. It should, however, be discussed rationally and consider to what extent we have changed, collectively.
You made a statement about the workers on your plantations and the fact Indians went on but Blacks did not and you did not know why. As an observer of social issues and a student of life, it is to do with focus, identity, culture and drive. This is based in fact and not in prejudice.
Many entities have been and are still dominated by Blacks and it is not really debated.
However we are talking cricket and I would suggest Bassarath's regime should be representative however it is what it is and they should be judged, irrespective of the composition, on results.
What I am still flummoxed about is the rules of the voting system.

I assume you are being naughty but if this was the case, we would still be in slavery.....

The issue for me is you can only rig what is 'riggable' within the governance framework and it is that which requires permanent alteration. It seems bizarre and inequitable to me a cohort should have the support of 70% of the clubs but fail to gain office.
However this is less to do with Bassarath than the system in place, unless he changed it during his tenure thus far. If they have acted in an ultra vires manner then the courts are there to take a legal view.
Murray was in situ before, as were many others, and the system is still 'riggable'.
Is there a time limit on the Presidency of the T&TCB?
