It’s less than a month to go before Sachin Tendulkar walks away from Test cricket after his 200th Test, against the West Indies and as the day draws near, cricketing stars who have played with him are still numbed by the decision.
“It’s going to be really strange for a lot of people me included. Imagine a Test team without SR Tendulkar on the team list!,†said Rahul Dravid on Friday. “It was virtually given that he would be around and I guess we all wished he will go on forever. But that’s life. It’s only when he decided to move on that we started looking at his numbers and it sorts of boggles your mind that somebody could actually achieve what he has for over 24 years. It’s been a phenomenal career.
“I was seven junior to him in terms of playing cricket for India. When I got into the team, he was my captain in the second Test match. I sort of always looked up to him.â€
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

I've always liked Sachin Tendulkar, he's a great player and I respect talent regardless. He did his thing while he was in the game so he will be missed when he retires.
