The WICB has denied reports that Ottis Gibson, West Indies' head coach, is in contention to take over at Glamorgan. Gibson has been in his current role since 2010 and signed a three-year contract extension earlier this year, after interest from another county in Warwickshire.
Glamorgan are believed to have carried out a final round of interviews on Tuesday as they seek to appoint a successor to Matthew Mott, who is returning to Australia. However, the West Indies board rejected suggestions, initially reported by the BBC, that Gibson could return to the county he played for in the 1990s.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
