Newcomer to the senior West Indies cricket team, Sheldon Cotterell is to undergo a medical examination tomorrow which would decide if he travels with the regional side for its upcoming tour of India.
Cotterell, the lone newcomer selected to the regional side and who has been receiving treatment for an injury he sustained, says he is looking forward to having the injury assessed.
The Jamaican pacer twisted his knee during training for West Indies A ahead of the one-day and Twenty20 series in India, and was sent home for treatment.
“The injury is coming on much better now,†said Cotterell.
“I am down to do a scan on Wednesday and after that a decision will be taken as to whether or not I am fit enough to go.â€
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
