As the two stalwarts of cricket ~ Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid ~ bid adieu to the slam-bang format, the cricket community took to social networking site Twitter to express love and admiration for the two icons.
Bidding farewell to his friend and one-time rival on the field Tendulkar, West Indies batting legend Brian Lara twitted: “The last scoring shot in T20 cricket from @sachin_rt was one of the best i have seen from the “Little Master†#legend.â€
Tendulkar's final T20 act and Dravid's last hurrah in competitive cricket were the talking points at the Feroze Shah Kotla here last night as the two legends played their last match in coloured clothing for Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals, respectively, in the title clash of the Champions League T20.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Alright. Gonna miss Dravid anyways. Don't know why I love him so much. Sachin will continue to play in Tests, so meh until he retires. Both legends tho.

Some people transcend their public roles and this can be applied to these two gentlemen.
I have neither witness nor heard of Dravid being riled at the crease.
Thought Dravid's exit was dignified but feel Sachin has dragged it out too long. A bit like Viv who, in his last 15 tests or so, average just above 30.

Right now a 30ish average for a westindian batsman launches you into superstardom .. Gayle . Bravo and in Bravo's case movie stardom

two greats indeed. As much as TenD is a holder of so many records, i have much more admiration for Dravid's batting. When TenD failed against Oz, it was Dravid and another great VVS who put the sword to Oz. He was truly the wall!!
