There is more stories bout Canje market . I remember when corentyne people would come to the drainage trench on th no 19 road which was infested with curass . Now no one eats these fishes because the trench was polluted with raw sewage etc but they will catch these fishes and daub them with swamp mud as if they were from the sea and unload them at Canje market at low prices and demand will overwhelm supplies . Lord I sorry for Canje people
