What a depressing day, I was speaking with a client today and the first question I asked the man he started crying. I stopped my conversation with him and asked him if he was okay, the first thing he said to after asking him f he was okay, was that his wife died on Saturday ( had all the details, on exact time when she was pronounced and all the details). She died of colon cancer. The man was just bawling his eyes out. He went on to tell me that he is withdrawing money from his credit card so he can bury her because he has no money and he is waiting for the insurance to pay for her funeral, and that takes 10 days to process. He wanted to bury her since last week, but cannot afford it. I asked him if he has children, he said no it was only the two of them and a dog, he has two sisters that are alive but cannot make it to be with him because of illness. He is all alone. He kept asking me what to do, he has no one and he cannot cope and does not know how he will carry on. The funny thing about this, he is Guyanese. It was a sad sad day. It reminds me of when my mom died and I had all these questions on how to move on and cope with such loss. It brought tears to my eyes today to hear a big man cry like a little baby because he lost his life partner. It is just sad sad sad. Ketchim, he lives up by your area. eventually he told me the funeral would be Saturday!!!Let me know if you going to any funeral Saturday?
