A tale of horror is unfolding as the circumstances surrounding the death of a two-month-old baby who died on Tuesday last, continue to surface.
Andy Hunte died at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) hours after he was struck in the head during a drunken brawl between his parents at a rum-shop.

The woman, Dougla and the baby once lived at the bottom of this house

Villagers of Le Ressouvenir, East Coast Demerara (ECD) have confirmed that the parents are homeless, alcoholics.
The father, ‘Dougla’ (only name given) is said to hail from the North West District and was yesterday captured by police while hiding in a latrine at
First Street Success, East Coast Demerara
Police are of the impression that he was in the process of fleeing to the North West Region, since his bag was already packed.
