Padmini's connection to the world of entertainment started from the very beginning, as her father was a cousin to the legendary Dinanath Mangeshkar, father of the iconic Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. Talk about being born into a musical dynasty! 🎵🎶

Starting her career as a chorus singer in movies like 'Yaadon Ki Baarat', 'Dushman Dost', and 'Kitaab', alongside her sister Shivangi (now married to Shakti Kapoor), Padmini showcased her singing talent. But it was Asha Bhosle who recommended her name to the legendary Dev Anand, which led to Padmini's debut in acting as a child artist in the 1975 release 'Ishq Ishq Ishq'.

Padmini's partnership with success continued as she appeared in various films as a child artist, including 'Zindagi', 'Saajan Bin Suhagan', 'Dream Girl', and the 1977 release 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' by the renowned Raj Kapoor. Her performance in 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' garnered a lot of attention and praise, proving her talent and versatility.

She truly marked her arrival as a prominent actress when she played a significant role in the 1980 release 'Insaaf Ka Tarazu'.
