I do know some about Sharia law and it is not evil as portrayed in the west , you would be more of an expert but in some ways it is superior to mosiac  laws and the magna carta.

It is a set of laws written hundreds of years ago for a people and culture which no longer exists.  As such it is totally ill equip to deal with the complexities of people living in this century whether they are Muslims or not.  But this is beside the point.  Sharia law as it is written is a different creature to Sharia law as it is interpreted and enforced by modern Islamist.  And therein lies the problem.
