Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said yesterday India's largest private company, Reliance, plans to invest $1 billion in Trinidad and Tobago.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

see..this is the game here. politics is all about providing opportunity for the rich and powerful to get more rich. it does not matter if its Indians or americans or jews or german or english..its the same thing.
the debt is the thing. thats what forrin investment is about! debt an interest. and we have to be careful that it is indeed forrin investment.
in previous times stink local government called it forrin investment and included such in successive 5-year development plans etc. but it was local money, saved in the vaults of forrin banks in the location or developing country.
what the 'investment' company did was to borrow local money in great quanity, given freely to the 'investors' by the local brances of forrin banks, and used that to invest in whatever deh did locally, collect interest and profits for nothing..never having invested a penny of their own money...ALL THE TIME THEIR ACTIVITY IN THE NATION WAS SUNG ALL OVER AS FORRIN INVESTMENT
Tittys better watch closely to see if this 1b investment is actual money sent to Titty from India, or the various locations of this huge company...or the money of Titty scooped up from Titty forrin bank branches, some of which in Titty are now even Indian owned.
or the 1B may come even from the Titty goverment itself, siphoned off and stashed in some bank for that purpose.
if I had to call a bet I would wager that whatever this 1b deal is, not a penny of investment will come from outside. it will be all Titty money that company gets for nothing and collects great interest on it from the Titty people for absolutely nothing.
and of course Kamla will get a kickback of some sort and all the members of government and bureaucracy involved with that projeck will also share.
THAT IS HOW IT IS DONE AT THE EXPENSE OF THE PEOPLE!
in this case a man like Krishna will not care because it is all Indian up in it...or in dat. but all Indians doh benefit...certainly not all the Indian people of Titty, most of whom ketch deh arse like everybody else.
Indians may enjoy growing control in Titty and in the westindies. but not all Indians are in charge....certainly not the majority. certainly not in Titty...nor in India itself, which has an indescribable rate of poverty
so there ought to be a class concern among poor Indians who do not benefit from the operation of Indan corporations..which exploits all man and woman.
THE FACT REMAINS THAT TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO NEEDS NO FORRIN INVESTMENT...NO 1B FROM ANY DAMM INDIAN CORPORATION WHICH IS BOUND TO BE A MIRAGE AS ABOVE.
Titty earns on its own far more money than it needs to stimulate full scale development and take care of all its people.
and where Titty does not earn surplus profits..or in tandem with its surpluses.. it can print its own money for its development without the need for forrin investment, loans, aid..all of which must be paid for at high interest, off the backs of the people
