Well what produces the most electricity in the world! yes fossil fuels!
Solar energy/panels cannot match up at all, can make up no difference.
What else is there nuclear energy? We are nowhere yet to be able to use nuclear energy in cars.
But that is only the start of the problem! assume that there is enough energy, bountiful! What do you do with the people in capitalism as interest, capitalist interest forced the introduction of automation is it is already going
the Interest/class interest is the key. you still have the same problem even if the people are all alive.
all the people in their billions are still here, alive! but no jobs.
and if they have no jobs they might as well be dead for they cannot participate in the economy: so that the profit process is just as dead as Daddy-O described in in his first post.
but what the people do retain once they are alive is the potential to revolutionize society...to take over society and reorganize it to ensure that they have a share and can live.
AND THAT IS WHAT THE CAPITALIST CANNOT AFFORD! THAT IS WHAT HE IS ATTEMPTING TO PRE-EMPT WITH HIS COVID PROCESS, WHICH IS NOTHING BUT A MASSIVE GENOCIDE TAKING PLACE IN FRONT OF OUR FACES WITH US AS THE VICTIMS
