THE CIOG commends His Excellency President Irfaan Ali and the Government of Guyana for their prompt response to the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. This is a laudable initiative to our sister CARICOM nation.

Disasters are a part of life, a test for those afflicted and a test of response for those who are saved from the disaster. Guyana and Guyanese have always been recognised for their generosity.
We pray that God Almighty, bless the Government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines with strength of faith, unity and courage. May He grant them relief and protect them and their property.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
