Authorities are interested in what Ed Ahmad might tell about the $40,000

he gave Meeks in 2007, which the congressman didn’t disclose until the FBI

questioned Ahmad about it.

The House Ethics Committee is currently probing whether it was an illegal gift.... :tongue:

gifts are never illegal if  the beneficiary pays the tax on it, if a benefit to the giver is derived from said gift then it is bribery and as of now ,i see no benefit to  Ed Ahmad .
