The CDC said the man reached out to local health authorities on Jan. 15

once he started experiencing pneumonia-like symptoms .

The last time WHO declared a global health emergency was in 2019 for the Ebola outbreak
in eastern Congo that killed more than 2,000 people.
The agency also declared global emergencies for the 2016 Zika virus
the 2009 H1N1 swine flu
the 2014 Polio

Chinese authorities say many of the patients with the new illness had come into contact with seafood markets

suggesting the virus is spreading from animals to people.

However, health officials say some “limited human-to-human transmission” occurred between close contacts.

People can protect themselves from the virus by :

1. washing their hands with soap and water
2. avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth
3. keep away from sick people

my impression is that all these diseases..Ebola, SARS..now what..Corona...are all out of the labs of this or that country..screwing around with human existence, experimenting with human life.

and the thing is: genetic engineering on a huge scale is not like building nuclear weapons. you do not need huge expensive infrastructure for that, covering huge areas of ground fr testing in particular. all you need a buildings..any building at all, in which, and under which.. can be built the laboratories well hidden to conduct the most deadly research.. and surely from that, the creation of minute genetic forms that may wipe out humanity..by any nation at all..large or small.

in fact the authorities of the nations, all the nations, do not even have to know whats actually going on what their citizens are doing. their citizens can set up and carry out this work on their own unknown to many or any but themselves.

one way to monitor such activity in the world is to follow always the relevant sciences and their graduates from every university throughout their lives..where they work, who they world for etc. their total existence must be a known fact, every minute that passes,..to the powers in the world. and no doubt they take particular care in such eavesdropping.

but what about the brilliant people who do not go to any school, refuse to.. do not attend and graduate from any university..who categorically refuse to do that but for that are in no way inferior to the best graduates from the most advanced schools...some even better?

you do not know of these people and may not find out even if you conduct the most intense and comprehensive of searches of other peoples countries. you would of course do that in your own country and find them too. but in other peoples countries that's hit and miss at best. and some countries would hide such people from the world..brilliant people in all ares of life whom our masters would like to put their hands on, to train and use themselves. or that not possible to kill them outright, silently.. rather than leave them free as a source human power over which they have no control themselves..will not leave them for others to use in any way at all

in any case at the national level it is one way that small nations can equalize themselves against the huge bully nations by building genetic bombs that can wipe them out..that they cannot stop under any circumstance. the most pressing question of the nationalist developers of such equalizing weaponry would be delivery..how to deliver such bombs to the enemy to ensure he meets his maker the same way he is forcing you to.

there are of course ways to solve every question and I am sure that such delivery has been and will be or in the process of being worked out.

I am never 'sooprized' by such outbreaks of disease in the world. what 'sooprizes' me is that it has not been a more frequent event in modern social life..or that a truly major and vast one has not broken out yet, to seriously depopulate the planet of human life. soon I am sure!
