(Newser) – Frontier Airlines is offering a free flight to everyone with two very specific last names as part of its environmentally conscious "Green Week." USA Today notes the qualifying but not completely surprising surnames: Green and Greene. The airline's website explains the simple steps for getting a complimentary flight: Book your flight online under your legal last name of Green or Greene and then expect a refund (up to $400 in total) by Sept. 15.
There are some catches, natch: You'll have to do the first leg of your trip on Aug. 13, and, if you need a roundtrip ticket, arrive back before midnight on Aug. 20. Fox News also notes the offer doesn't extend to your spouse or kids if they don't carry the "Green" or "Greene" name. Frontier kicked off its Green Week Wednesday with a special flight from Denver to Greenville, SC, on what it says is "one of the most fuel-efficient aircraft in the world," featuring eco-friendly service items like bamboo stir sticks and compostable cups. The airline also said it would plant enough trees to make up for that flight's carbon footprint.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
