Lew Alcindor aka Kareem Abdul Jabbar is part of the Alcindor family of Trinidad..the top member of which was lawyer, magistrate Francis Alcindor

Our tall boys were all Intellect and Academics.
Guyana Afros wanted to be Doctors and Lawyers
and their sport of choice was the colonial CRICKET !
we did not even compete in Track and Field
BUT produced great writers and theorists from our Afro segment of SIX races !
