yu speak of demonizing whites, chinese etc. but where does such demonization take place in the westindies?
there is some truth in the history books about the atocious behaviour of whites and chinese to blacs in the westinries but how does that play out on the streest today in the westindies?
whites till run the westindes and blac westindins still love the white skin and defer to white people totally in the region.
to be fair-skinned in the westindies is still to enjoy enormous individual social advantage when it comes to jobs and opportunity.
it is still the same for chinese, even more so currently.
nothing has changed in the westindies relative to race. lil Brondon Skish came from australia and walked into the westindies side just like that..because jackie Hendricks knew his father and he wanted his padnah son on the westindies side
so wat is this demonization of his ancestors Dave6 talking about?
are the steeets of Titty and jamaica, of Guyana, running red with white and chinese blood?
is there organised racism that prevents whites and chinese from getting jobs and government services, social protection from the police and military etc?
none of that is true..the opposite is. there is no situation in the westindies that is evenremotely close to that..which would be demonization fuh real.
if any group in the westindies is demonized it is the blac group that still suffers from police brutality and organised racism, that prevents them from educational opportunity, places in the university, jobs wherever they are available etc.
so again..is wat Dave6 claims, says, accurate, valid, credible, measured by the reality on westindian streets and roads, avenues and laneways, boulevards and thoroughfares?
I dont think so! so the questions remains..wat is the point and purpose of his documentary..save some kind of caling to white westindian nationalism at a time when blac westindians are in terrible decline. is an opportunity to reclain the region available here?
my contentio is that there must be room for all and rathe than sectarian efforts we ought to be getting comprehnsive impressions of the westindies and inclisve ways out of our currenr condition of general decline. mush has happened on the continent opposite. it is time that we floow such leads and develop our own thing.
sectarian celebrations are useless in this regard. maybe good for genteel screening at Boston university but useless to westindians on the streets
does Dave6 even know why he has done what he has..made his documentary?as far as I see is one-track and intellectually very narrow indeed and inconsistent with the needs of the day

the history of the middle eastern and north african christians is very interesting and when my documentary on the syrian Jamaican community is complete you will see how their faith has lived on with them even though they do not have their original churches. many have converted to roman catholicism being it is the closest thing to orthodox faith but the coptics have opened a church in Jamaica. i plan on visiting it.

well the Missionaries did a good job on the Hindu in Guyana and my fren , it had nothing to do with "closeness of faith ".
IF yuh wanted a Job to feed yuh family , yuh better CONVERT in a Christian dominated economy ...
Your premise therfore on conversion is Flawed ..
