bush rum....if that is what you call it...yes...they have that too...but as you should know...rum is too cheap and abundant...and berbician don't drink local stuff...they get it highly discounted across the river...a mere 15 minute ride over to suriname gets them bais foreign stuff and it is much much cheaper than you would think.

the people in berbice are not afraid to demonstrate their wealth...they will ever offer visitors guyana rum. they can afford all the black labels and fancy vodkas and whisky...it is almost insulting to do so.
