Legendary singer and nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar, whose melodious renditions have contributed largely to the Indian film industry is celebrating her 86th birthday today.

Starting her career at the age on 13, her contribution to the Indian music industry has spanned over seven decades. She has recorded songs for over a thousand Hindi films and has sung songs in over thirty-six regional Indian languages and foreign languages, though primarily in Marathi and Hindi.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

Oh dear! death of a nephew on your birthday must be terrible. A true legend, her melodious voice in some of the evergreen songs she sung is unbeatable by any other singer even today. And after spending 7 decades her voice haven't changed a bit. A true legend Lata Mangeshkar!
