Attack on Air Force Base in Pakistan

Taliban militants in an attack on a mosque in the Badaber air base Peshawar, early Friday morning, killed 29 people 16 of them killed in the mosque compound. The militants were dressed as police officials. The rapid response team was alerted immediately and tackled the militants killing all 13 after detaining them in a cornered area. The militants entered the area at 2 different points and divided into groups. The compound is a residential area for air force families. Fire exchange also left 29 people injured including a small child on his way to school. Mobile phone intercepts reveal links of militants with Afghanistan. Pakistan security forces officials among dead count of the incident.
