There have been many issues and reports, some of which were made by the Dutch, which should be taken off shelves and reviewed for immediate actions. The Government should not only focus on preventing and reducing flooding in Georgetown, but should seriously consider moving the capital city from its current location because, reflecting on the hasty progression of global warming, the flooding will only get worse and worse.
Our leaders should seek the service of an engineer who is of Guyanese extract who currently resides in Holland to advise them on measures which can be taken against this problem.
Time is not on the side of the Government. The ball in their court.
