Mr. Obama visited Jamaica last week, it was such a momentous occasion and I was over the moon with excitement. I went close to the airport last Thursday with the intention of getting a glimpse when he was passing by, unfortunately he arrived late and took an helicopter from the airport to where he was staying.
I was disappointed then but I went to The University where he was speaking on Friday as I am a student there and I was able to see him up close.

He is such a down to earth and jovial fellow, I will forever be thankful for that historic visit that he graced us with. The first black president of The United States gracing our shores!
