Sgt Bowe Bergdahl, the US soldier freed in May after five years in Taliban captivity, is on his way back to the US, a Pentagon official says.

American policy has been and always will be"Leave No Man Behind." It doesn't matter if he acts in a treasonous manner. It does not matter if he's severely mentally ill or schizophrenic.  He is an American and he deserves to come home.
