Kate Upton and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are both back on the market.

The easy-on-the-eyes pair has split, according to E!.

A friend of the former couple told the network that "it was never really that serious" between the cover model and the "Dancing with the Stars" pro, and that their relationship was "more like friends-with-benefits than anything else."
