well I better qualify my opposition then:
in a situation where an affliction is congenital, not caused by personal behaviour but by birth defect I can see such a donation by anyone.
even when it is caused by personal behaviour and relatives still want to donate that's their affair.
but the organ business must not step out of those limits.
the organ business has deliberately been fostered into a massive profit making business, like drugs replete with a huge illegal or white market... that involves murdering people for their body parts, letting them die in hospitals without proper attention, and as soon as they are 'legally' dead hospital officials descending on bereaved loved ones to ask for body parts.
authorities are not serious about human health in north america. they have developed a fast food market that destroys the human body. they now make GMO's that make this situation far worse.
there is no health insurance in the USA. it is being deliberately destroyed in Canada by an insane Tory government..indeed by all Canadian governments regardless of political ideology.
no effort is being made to develop preventive medicine and health behaviour by the population to obviate the need for such transplants all over the western hemisphere. and where such efforts are being made..Latin America and Cuba Obama wants to bomb.
but they don't care that prevention, because the more bad behaviour and its consequences the more transplants they can do for big money.
and as there is garantee to always be a shortage of parts, encouraging white illegal markets for human body parts including murder.... even more money is generated. the more illegal it is the more the money flows.
